About Us

Thank you for your interest in our our company Internet Guy Enterprises, our eBay store Internet Guy Sells Stuff, and us. Our names are David and Gina Holman Rosenberg. We were married on Ft. Myers Beach, Florida at sunset in January 2002 and life has been an amazing ride ever since.

David had been a new home and real estate salesman since 1978. After about a year and half of marriage, Gina decided to get her Real Estate license and then was asked to join the family business, working in the construction office. Part of her job entailed helping our customers with their color choices for their custom homes. She always knew she had a knack for decorating, but thought it was just a matter of having her own distinctive taste. Her father always kidded that she had Champagne Taste and a Beer Pocket Book. She was always able to work around that true statement by being a diligent bargain hunter. She discovered that she was also good at helping others decorate and she played a significant role in decorating their latest model home. We decided the time was right to build our dream home, having the advantage of working for a custom builder. Our house was completed in Sept. of  2005 and life was sweet, but there was just one thing missing...

If you are familiar with Fort Myers in Lee County, there is a beautiful Boulevard, called McGregor Blvd that runs parallel with the Caloosahatchee River and is home to the Edison and Ford Winter Estates. Since Gina's first visits to the area, she dreamt of owning a home or a business on McGregor Blvd. A few weeks before closing on our new home, Gina was out scouring her favorite consignment shops trying to find some beautiful bargains. She was driving down McGregor Blvd and said out loud to herself that she YEARNS to own a business on McGregor. If she had a business on McGregor, she would call it More Taste than Money (we swear to you, this story is true). 20 minutes later, she was in one of her favorite consignment stores called Kaleidoscope.

Gina mentioned to the owner that she loved this store and that if she ever owned a store she would want it to look just like this one. She said to her, that's interesting because the store is for sale. So, she quit her job, bought the store, changed the name to More Taste than Money (how much more of a sign could we ask for!). Our store was everything she had dreamed about with a wonderful location on McGregor Blvd and almost 4000 square feet of meandering rooms with different decorating styles, filled with beautiful, unique, and extraordinary items and great prices.

Our first item sold in our new store was a wood rocking horse purchased by a Mother for her Son. That's Gina behind the boy with the great big smile on my face!

In 2006, after 28 years in the real estate and new home business, David decided to work with Gina at our beautiful store. He became her internet and eBay guy. We have become eBay Trading Assistants with an eBay drop off location. We have sold and will continue to sell many unique items. Our most unusual item to date has been a 17 1/2 foot Taxidermy Giraffe.

Then in 2008, David became an Education Specialist Trained by eBay and started teaching the Basics of Selling on eBay.

In 2009, our landlord forced us to shut down by not renegotiating our lease. So, we downsized by moving into an executive suite and concentrate on being eBay Trading Assistants, still with a drop off location, and David still teaches the Basics of Selling on eBay. As of July 2010, David will also be teaching the Beyond the Basics eBay course as well. Our new company name is Internet Guy Enterprises with an eBay store called Internet Guy Sells Stuff.

David is happy doing what he loves. Which is, being on the computer, doing research, taking photographs, and helping people sell their "stuff".

Although Gina is still an integral part of IGE, she now also works at Lenny's Furniture. There she gets to do what she is passionate about and that is helping people decorate their homes. It's like having our store, but without the overhead.

Thank you for reading our story.

Sincerely,
David and Gina H. Rosenberg
